It was a cruel deed. All Cousteaumir wanted to do was sail down the Anduin
in his submarine and then travel to Aman in it. Instead, he and his
assistant Nemo were beheaded by the envious Celeborn.

and then he used their heads to build boats. nt even good ones, at

Those were Coleopterid insects in the pay of Yavanna.
Cousteaumir invented the aqualung.
