#1: Blood On The Canvas

<a href="http://globalia.net/donlope/fz/related/Blood_On_The_Canvas.html" target="_blank"> http://globalia.net/donlope/fz/related/Blood_On_The_Canvas.h tml</a>
Indicates this section:
I'm Going To Have To Put You On Medication [14:25-19:36]
Doctor: OK. Now, I'm going to have to put you on some medication, Bill. I
can't say it's going to do anything, but it's our only shot--you follow me?
Now this stuff is strong, OK? It has some side effects. After a few days,
your vision may blur a bit, and uh, you'll find your sex drive diminished.
You probably also get a little dizzy when you stand up. But don't worry
about any of that. What you will find worrisome is when your hair starts to
fall out--it's not pretty. Also you will start, oh I say after two weeks,
getting large itchy bleeding scabs on your arms and legs, and you'll lose
most feeling in your fingers, toes, nose, ears. After a month, you may
suffer temporary blindness, and frequent nausea, vomiting, incontinence will
set in, and your nose will bleed from time to time. That's all. After four
weeks, we check you, we see how the medication is doing, and if you need
something stronger. OK? OK. Have a nice day.

---------------

The version I have from years ago does not include this section. The second
part begins with

Prostitute: Hey handsome! Wanna party? Huh? Wanna go out? You look a little
depressed. Let me cheer you up.

Does anyone have the complete version?

I noticed, after my initial post, that mine ends mid sentence of the last
line. &quot; As long as you understand your position in the pyramid,&quot; [my copy
ends abruptly here.]

The complete version apparently has the entire sentence &quot; As long as you
understand your position in the pyramid, everything's simple.&quot; and
continues with part of Reagan At Bitburg [23:24-23:45]

Is a complete version of Blood On The Canvas in circulation?

I've a 'complete' version - meaning that it has Reagan at Bitburg. I
downloaded my version from Zappateers (but it's not longer there
AFAIK).

My version differs slightly from the script on Roman's site (for
example, in the ultimate para spoken by 'Bobby', the sentence 'It's the
NEA. It's MOCA' is missing). I've not read the script along with the
audio, so I cannot vouch for other differences.

And the version I have is followed by an interview with Bogosian and
FZ.

Cheers

I gave my copy a spin. It doesn't have the Doctor's advice you quoted
(Doctor: OK. Now, I'm going to have to put you on some medication,
Bill....).

But it has two interviews with Bogosian and FZ. Which I find more
interesting than BotC.

Cheers

Can I get a copy? I trade on the Zappa-List Yahoo group from time to time.
<a href="http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/Zappa-List/" target="_blank">http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/Zappa-List/</a>

There are some decent snail mail &quot;vines&quot; that go around.

Either way I would appreciate a copy of what you have. I am sure I would
enjoy the two interviews with Bogosian and FZ.

Sure. I have it as a 160 MB *.flac, or as an audio CD. Would you (and
others?) prefer a torrent upload to Zappateers or Demonoid etc. I'm not
certain if Dime-a-Dozen would take it. Or I can snail mail you a CD.
Send me another e-mail to the address you just used if you prefer the
snail mail route.

Cheers
