If anybody's interested, the Hyperland programme that Douglas did with
Tom Baker back in 19990 about the possible future of the internet is
available on uknova currently as a torrent (search on www.uknova.com for
hyperland).

It's good to know he is merely spending 17989 years dead for tax reasons.

Oh my, have I got something amiss? I thought I had this machine
calibrated for 2006, and you say it's 2001?

Mutterings.

>
>Well, assuming antimatter research progresses well, and Lloyd gets
>involved, the universe could well end in about 17989 years, which would
>put him neatly in Milliways.
>
>This could work!

Sounds like a plan. Just tell me what you need me to bring, and when
you needed me to willen have brung it, and I'll do my best.

Note that some of this stuff is in boxes ready to be moved to a new
lair, so there's a degree of "locating which boxes have which items
in"-ness to be accounted for too.

Uhm, no, I'm saying DNA died in 2001. I know it sometimes seems like
only yesterday, though.

I'm not a member of uknova, any chance of e-mailing me the .torrent file?

Cheers

We've not actually managed to get as far as having a target yet - only
put ours on the market a few weeks back and so far no offers on it.

>Are you inviting afda to a housewarming? Housefissioning?

There's an idea.

Oh, I see.

2001 does seem a long time ago, and simultaneously DNA's departing
seems a lot more recent. Weird how time does that.

Ho hum.
