Sugarcubes- split up before going crapy

Mudhoney- still on the same strange trip

QUOTSA- ...

Monster Magnet

The Specials- I'm just wearing their T-Shirt :)

The Crass- Haven't heard "10 notes on a Summer's day" yet though

Minimal Compact

Slime- Monsters of Punk from Germany

Talking Heads

Tangerine Dream

....this list could be carried on and on and on. Would maybe be wiser to
limit it to punkrock bands.

I haven't heard the new one yet, but of the ones which were are out
before, definitely "Songs for The Deaf". Actually it was the first time
in years that I had bought a record by a contemporary American rock
band. I Had seen them live on TV and it had blow me away.

HELLO... the obvious band...AC fucking DC? Still love em though.

Umm...Oasis hasn't broke from a formula. Still like em.

Iron Maiden. Incredibly long songs about mystical shit.

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Basically wrote a few of her own songs
for an album and built it around covers - which by and large were
horrible listens. Her Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is perhaps the worst
cover I've ever heard.

The Polish punk band KSU. Good shit, but damn they be stuck in a time warp.

The Misfits post-1995.

The Adolescents.

D.I.

The Stray Cats.

Seven Year Bitch.

A little more bluesy when Bon Scot fronted them, but pretty much unchanged.

Again, the first two albums, with Tony Dianno (sp?) were pretty decent,
metal/rock. Then they went all comic-book on us. Number of the beast was
where it all started to go wobbly - not a bad album, but not a patch on the
first two.

But the subsequent stuff doesn't even approach the level of the first
side of the first record, which, although it is 5 separate songs,
functions as a unit.

And heck, add the Sex Pistols, or as my buddy says, "The Dolls' next

I didn't feel at all "cheated" by Swindle. I thought it was great.

I rate UP as the second best LP ever, I like it all
Closer I'm not over keen on the first 4 tracks but rate the rest of it.
My mates went to see them at the last ever show in 1980 at Brum uni, I was
only 13 so wouldn't have got
in as it was over 18s, they were 15 and could pass for 18.
