I don't know. Someone still has to clean the actor's dressing room toilets
between shots.

I hope it has a rest for a while before coming back. Just so long as it is
not left too long like the last time.

There've been rumors of a movie, but they're from the Internet, which should
tell you how seriously you should take them. Plus the fact that Paramount
would have to release the movie (which I think Paramount has no interest in
anything Trek for the forseeable future), don't count on anything soon. Or
at least under the leadership of Berman and Co.

Take a look at "Http://www.newvoyages.com/" - Continuing year 4 for the
5 year mission.

I liked it. Live action, not cartoons. "Modern" special effects.
Faithfully reproduced sets, uniforms and hair styles.

Try Trailer 2: "Doomsday" from this link:

Actually, don't watch Trailer 2. The episode is a LOT better than the
trailer and it only serves to add a bit of spoiler to the mix.

Just watch the episode, you'll see :)

Bullshirt. They hate what they perceive to be its misuse, but that's not
the same issue.

And they classify "misuse" based upon beliefs, not science.

Still a personal hatred.

From one perspective, your claim does have a ring of truth. However from
another perspective, one not as blind nor as self-righteous as your
fundamentalist one, I do indeed have proof:

http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/07/29/frist.stem.cells.ap/

Even the Republican House leader, Frist, said quote ""It isn't just a matter
of faith, it's a matter of science" in his address to the House. As a
trained doctor he had previously voted against the issue of stem cell
research based upon his /faith's/ party line - and has now changed his
stance when looking at things from a scientist / doctor's point of view.

Here is one of the most influential religious politicians blatantly claiming
openly his previous anti-research stance was based strictly on his religious
views - a stance he is now changing. And taking heat from his own party for
breaking political fundamentalist lines.

So where's your proof of statement, hmm?

I believe future Star Trek movies are very likely. Another television series,
however...I have no idea.
