I've been a fan of HHG2TG for many years (radio, books, vinyl, cd's,
plastic, cardboard, naughty shiney rubber...) and er....i'd like to know
what DNA liked in the bedroom?

A nice bedside light, enough sockets to charge the phone and Apple devices,
goldfish bowel and a cuddly toy.

From The Meaning of Liff:
Ballycumber (n.)
One of the six half-read books lying somewhere in your bed.
Abilene (adj.)
Descriptive of the pleasing coolness on the reverse side of the
pillow.
Does that answer your question?

What an odd question. I'd hazard a guess he'd enjoy the usual, nothing
too SnM, just plain old vanilla stuff.
I should stop thinking about this and get out more.
Oh and "Hi folks" *waves* I'm still kind of about.

I had to check the headers to see if it was one of those clever schemes
where your replies end up flooding another newsgroup, but it seems to be
the real thing. I suppose it's one thing that's not in the FAQ, though,
and probably will never end up there :-)

I think I'd prefer not to guess at all, but given the fact that Polly
exists, I assume that sex has somehow been involved.

I shouldn't. I should lock myself completely in with nothing but the
froup for company. Getting out deprives you far too much of usenet :-)

Hi, Kie!
They all come back eventually :-)

If this were the case, vibrations from a bulldozer would probably give the
goldfish a bowel movement. :)

Was there a Liff entry for those times when you know how to start spelling a
word but aren't sure when to stop?
Or was that little gem a Pratchettism?

I think that's Pratchett. Something in Nanny Ogg's postcards from
Witches Abroad. I could be wrong, though. No, wait! I couldn't! It's
about banananana surprise, isn't it?

Okay, okay, so I was on holiday for a week, but "seldomly-seen"? I've
been active for the last few years, haven't I?

Purely, then, for research purposes I'll include a URL that I saw in a
newspaper advert the other day.
I have nothing at all to do with whatever it is they're trying to
sell, but by goodness they've got a catchy website address:
www.healthybowels.com
*Just* the sort of thing I didn't want to
read-and-have-seared-into-my-memory as I was having breakfast, I can
tell you.

Ah, you never heard of those bio-medical techniques?
Wonderful what you can do nowadays.

Probably, a bed, sheets, a pillow, and the dark. And, if he
wasn't using it for a pillow, he should, at least, have known where
his towel was. Preferably, on a stand by the bed, ready to be
snatched up at a moment's notice for defense/offense/flagging down
passing space/time ships.
