What a Wonderful World [message #93430] Do, 28 Juli 2005 05:44

I've been watching NASA TV's coverage of the return-to-flight mission of
Discovery. They woke the astronauts this morning with Louis Armstrong's
"What a Wonderful World." I'm fairly sure the planet was not immediately
thereafter destroyed to make way for a hyperspace bypass, but this may be a
delusion on my part.

No, I don't live in California.

The point at which the song is sung is primitive Earth with the cavemen. The
planet doesn't get destroyed for a long time after that !!!

That is a little far to go - after all it will probably get in the
news if the dolphins have disappeared.

I though't Americans used miles? Not that I complain, it's far easier
for me to read kilometers.
