Klingon Imperial Forums Status Report July 28, 2005
The KIDC's Klingon Imperial Forums provide a centralized online
gathering space for Klingon fandom and its many special interest groups
(SIGs). We have sections for discussion on such diverse activities as
costuming, gaming, poetry and short stories, language, science and
technology, and Klingon culture in general. You bring a topic, we'll fit
it in. }}; )
This week's thread topics include:
- Ferengi influence on the Klingon Empire
- A request for sources of Klingon uniform collars
- Non-alcoholic Klingon beverage recipes
- How to start a new Klingon club
- Comments on the video games "Star Trek: Klingon", "Star Trek: Armada",
and "Star Trek Voyager: Elite Forces"
- Insults and females
- Were the Klingon gods really killed?
- Who has met a Star Trek celebrity? (A poll)
- Honor and ship transfers
- A warp factor conversion project
- translation requests for Biblical verses
- The introduction of a new member in the Reception Hall
We are saddened to learn of the passing of James Doohan, and fondly
remember his extensive contributions to Trek and its fans. (He even
provided voices for Klingons in TAS!)
We invite you to visit the Forums at http://www.klingon.org/iboard. The
boards are open on a read-only status so you may browse without having
to register. They are free of any pop-up ads or banner ads, and are
open to any and all with an interest in things Klingon. You must
register in order to post and participate. All that is required is a
User ID name and a valid email address. This address is hidden from
view, and you have the option of preventing other forum members from
using it to contact you.
