Hey, welcome back!

If I were you I wouldn't try to start an actual, on-topic Star Trek post
here - Trek seems very dead, in more ways than one. JS has his head so far
up his rectum that it's coming out his /son's/ mouth and it's pretty much
taken up all the bandwidth.

Killfile him now and save yourself the bother of when he is awarded the
"Please use condoms - don't let this happen to you!" poster child status. A
good reason for a B&B-style retroactive abortion - Save the Bandwidth!

Anyway, have you checked out "Starship Exeter"? They have the teaser for
the next ep out and I though it was quite well done. Cutty is especially
believable and stays very "in character". Trek is alive...somewhere...else.

I hope you're talking about alt.startrek, Snake and not the TOS group
because I see plenty of on topic posts started in the past two weeks.

Communicators
Nemesis
James Doohan - several threads there in fact
Kirk's Family
What Little Girls Are Made Of
Red Shirts
Alt episode titles
All Our Yesterdays

and there are others I've read and deleted.

Yes, I am speaking of AST. Thanks for the heads-up regarding ATVST-TOS -
I'll have to drop in there for a peek!! :-)

WE of the TOS group pride ourselves on staying on-topic. When you have a
topic this rich... hey! It's easy to do. :)

Look, why not just talk TREK in ~both~ groups?

Over the years, I have seen many would-be disrupters come and go. Why
should this year be any different? Would-be disrupters happen, but we
don't don't have to give them any of our precious energy. We have
better things (TREK) to talk about.

True, but that's only a temporary annoyance. He can't last. Like
fortune cookie say: "High winds never last all week". He never posts
on-topic: he has no abiding interest in our forum's TREK-related topics,
so he won't stick around. It's not like he is dedicated to this NG the
way that you and I are.

He lacks the necessary passion to belong here, so he won't be staying.
It's too much of a strain for people to stay here when they lack the
passion.

Besides, I'm sure many good people are complaining to his ISP about his
off-topic, cross-posting, flamebaiting abuses (I know I am). He'll be
gone for good, soon... one way or another. Believe it.

> Killfile him now

Agreed.

BTW, everybody: please stop talking to/about him. Especially if the
thread is about something else.

Oh, and yes, I talked about him in this post. Love ya, Louis. **kisses**

Thanks bunches,
