Far as I know Bill personally apologized to all the cast when he read
Doohans book and found out that they all hated him. Everyone forgave him but
old Scotty. I don't think he ever did?

Seriously, what "feud"? The way Bill tells it, the negetivity was all
one-sided, on Doohan's side.
Doohan was quoted saying things such as that Shatner was too insecure to
share his spotlight...
<sarcasm>Gee! An insecure actor who was jealous of the spotlight! Wow!
That's absolutely unheard of! Nobody in all of Hollywood ever heard
of an insecure spotlight hog before! That's outrageous! </sarcasm>
IMHO, Doohan was unnecessarily harsh on Shatner, and the reason why is
because he was a silly, insecure, spotlight-loving actor himself! The
only real difference between them is that SHATNER WAS THE STAR OF THE
SHOW, AND HE EXPECTED AND GOT STAR TREATMENT. End of story.
P.S., the other difference between them is that Shatner had enough class
to not trash Doohan, even though Doohan was royally asking for it.
