Hello. Having begun watching several of the Star Trek series simutaneously,
I have come upon the mirror universe, which I find to be very interesting.
I understand that there are a limited number of episodes, around 10 I hear,
concerning this alternate universe, so I wish to read the books that have
been written about it. If anyone would be willing to give me the names of
any of these books, it owuld be appreciated.

I seem to remember one TNG book pertaining to the mirror universe, although
I forget the name and date. I DO remember half of the cover graphic having
the "good" Picard and the other half of the graphic being the mirror Picard.
It written sometime between the middle to end of TNG's original run.
Also (memories of my youth) when DC comics did their Star Trek run in the
early to mid 80sm they did a story a mirror universe storyline. It was the
movie era TOS crew set between Search for Spock and Voyage Home. Kirk and
Co. go to the mirror universe in the Excelsior to stop the Empire from
invading. Gets into the origins of the Empire, but, of course, the comic
books aren't cannon and a lot of what happened in the story wasn't "supposed
to happen".

It's called Dark Mirror by Diane Duane. It's a different Mirror
Universe than the one shown on DS9, but then again, it was written
before those episodes. Spoiler ahead. Think of this Mirror Universe as
the one in which Spock didn't go through with trying to change things,
and it is very similar to the one from TOS. The DS9 episodes are set in
a Mirror Universe where Spock did go through with it, and caused the
collapse of the Empire. The Mirror Universe in the so-called
Shatnerverse novels is the DS9 Mirror Universe. There are three of
them, called Spectre, Dark Victory, and Preserver. I like to think that
it's because of the subspace tunnelling of the Bajoran wormhole that
this Mirror Universe made its appearance instead of the other one.
Anyway, who says a Mirror Universe can't have its own alternate
universe. HTH
