iPod-Akkus kommen Apple möglicherweise teuer zu stehen

Im Herbst 2003 reichten acht iPod-Besitzer eine Sammelklage beim
Gericht in San Mateo County (Kalifornien) gegen Apple ein, weil die
Akkus ihrer Player noch vor Garantieende schlapp machten und höchstens
fünf statt der versprochenen zehn Stunden Musikgenuss am Stück
gewährten. Zwar bot Apple ein Akku-Austauschprogramm an, doch mit 99
US-Dollar für den neuen Akku veranschlagte Apple fast ein Viertel des
Player-Neupreises für den Batterietausch.
