Look at yourselves.
I've been here many years and I've seen many of these little fevers come
and go. I'm comfortable and happy, and I am staying right here.
When you guys are ready to start talking about Star Trek again, you just
let me know.
In the meantime, I'm looking at all of you and thinking to myself,
"There they go again".
The same people, doing the same damn thing. ::yawn::
I'm not going to fight with any of you, no matter what anyone says. Do
your worse, and when you are quite finished, I'll still be here and I'll
still be happy.
Nobody has to protect or defend me. My rights are secure, and my peace
of mind is secure. If you want to help, may I suggest that you just
talk about Star Trek? If you don't like K/S, then perhaps you should
talk about some other aspect of Star Trek.
Just a suggestion.
:)
Just Another Trekkie,
Laura Goodwin

It always decends into a flames anyway.
For the record, i do not believe that kirk and spock were anything more than
good friends, but my opinion doesn't mean that its not possible to believe
it. Star Trek is about a vision of a better future, If it makes someone
happy to believe something, then as far as i'm concerned they are welcome to
believe it, as long as they are prepared to respect mine.
As for canon, until its stated in an episode either way, it will only ever
be 'Opinion'.

I think there's a direct link between lack of messages and lack of new star
trek....
