Anybody go to this?
I passed by the Science museum, thinking about seeing this, but found they
wanted eight quid for admittance, which is at least three quid more than I'd
pay.

I'm assuming you're talking about the Science Museum in London?
Do they have an exhibition on presently that's particularly relevant?
Or what?

8 quid sounds fairly pricey, but that's museums for ya. I might be
slightly biased, though, as my wife works in three museums. They don't
(necessarily) get a lot of funding from other places, y'know.

That would have been the Hitch Hikers exhibition, Lloyd.

There is/was a Hitch Hikers exhibition?
I didn't know that. Did anyone go, and actually pay to get in?

I was thinking about going when my ex mentioned it, not that long ago. She
wanted to go, but since then things have become a lot less amicable and so
it hasn't happened. I might still go with some of my HHG mates round here.
Actually ... Kenny? When you've finished moving, of course. :-)

London's a bit far from me to do a trip just to see the exhibition,
but if I end up in that vicinity whilst on other business, and if the
thing's still on, I might pop my head in and have a look round.

I've not seen that one. I've not seen very many of them (about 4 or 5,

So many spams are all about finding what your identity is so
the spammer can steal it that I decided to err on the side
of caution. Identity theft is serious enough that dropping
a coin is the least I can do.
But let me be clear, John did *nothing wrong*(TM).
It could even be just another coincidence. These things happen.
