Just surfing the Web. Interesting tidbits:
From http://trekweb.com
"(dateline) June 10: George Lucas got a Lifetime Achievement Award from the
American Film Institute, June 9th. William Shatner performed a rendition of
MY WAY. "Live long," Shatner told Lucas, "You've already prospered enough."
Gala will be on USA Network, June 20"
Today's fortune cookie (a small random commentary) placed each day on a
non-Trek oriented web comic that I follow was a quote from "A Private Little
War" regarding people getting used to killing. About it "having rewards"
..
While looking for that quote again - as it shows up randomly on the page - I
got a lot of zingers. I liked this one:
Today's Fortune Cookie:
QOTD:
"In the shopping mall of the mind, he's in the toy department."
Reminds me of JS...
Ah! Got it!
Today's Fortune Cookie:
I thought my people would grow tired of killing. But you were right,
they see it is easier than trading. And it has its pleasures. I feel
it myself. Like the hunt, but with richer rewards.

Funny, sad, funny - in that (original) order :)
