Ok guys, time fer a pop-quiz! I think we're all familiar with the
format. Only one condition, upon answering, drop the first question
and add a new one at the end! That way we can make a game of it! ^_^

1) Bingo, or bowling?
(I pick bowling)

2) Chess, or professional wrestling?
(chess - awesome musical!)

3) Buffy, or Willow?
(Willow! drool....)

4) Angel, or Xander?
(Xander's my hero!)

5) Childhood, or old age?
(Childhood - I'm still young at heart)

6) Smiles, or grins?
(Smiles)

7) Naaaassssttttyyyy, or suh-weet?
(tough choice, but I pick suh-weet ^_^)

8) Cacao, or Carob?
(cacao!!!)

9) Live-action, or animated?
(animated)

10) Sci-fi, or Cartoon Network?
(Sci-Fi)

Just a Monkey,

Scott,

Two different anime. Inyasha I've never seen nor have a want to (I've heard
that it is VERY repetitive in that every show is fight, Inyasha wins).

Fullmetal Alchemist follows Edward and his brother Alphonse in their search
for the Philosopher's Stone. They had tried to resurrect their mother with
alchemy, but failed. Al lost his body (his soul is tied to a suit of armor)
and Ed lost his right arm and left leg (he has "auto-mail" or functioning
prosthetics).

>Two different anime. Inyasha I've never seen nor have a want to (I've

I read the Inuyasha manga rather than watching the anime. It's a bit
better, just like a book is usually better than a movie based on it.
Also, I like it for the characters and story, not just the fights.
That's how I am with anything that has a decent plot.
In my opinion, though, the best anime that has beem shown on Cartoon
Network is Rurouni Kenshin, but I rented it and watched it in Japanese
before it was put on TV in the US, so I saw the unedited version with
all the extras. ^.^
My top favorite anime, however, is the Slayers, which has never been
aired in the US, that I know of, and took me three years to finish
watching simply because some of the episodes were really hard to find
at the time. (I still haven't seen all of the five or so movies...)
It's a great anime, especially the second and third seasons. It seems
simple and obnoxious if you don't pay attention, but the underlying
story and the detailed history that goes with it are amazing. There's
an interesting relationship between the dragons who protect the world,
and the demons who want to destroy it, but the main character is one of
the humans stuck in between those too forces.
I can go on for about 30 pages if I really get started ranting about
Slayers (well, 28 pages, last time I tried). It is one of the two
subjects that I can honestly call obsessions (the other being dragons),
so I'll spare you all and shut up now.

As I said, there might have been reason for St. George. Although going
by the title (Saint, after all) and the fact that the Catholic church
sees dragons as the devil, it might just be a story cooked up by the
church to show that those who devoutly follow the church can overcome
the devil.....

I read it is Frames Per Second. 30 FPS is standard TV, so any computer
games less than 30 FPS look choppy, whereas anything greater than 30 FPS
tends to be called stunning.

Lol, that's alright. I've heard good things about Slayers, but not enough

I know that the Lampton Wyrm was a metaphor...
The Dragon and the George might be as well, but as to the social/political
problem the dragon represented *before* the church got a hold of the story
is something I don't know.

In terms of RPG vs. FPS, FPS is "First Person Shooter" and RPG is "Role
Playing Game."

In that case I would say RPG. Though I really don't see much of a difference
betweeen the two. Your pretending to be someone/something else in both.

That maybe. There is alot of stuff in religous groups similar to Catholics about
dragons being perceived as the devil. I personally don't agree with them there.
Dragons are no different from any other intelligent being out there. I would say
vote for the dragon assuming it wasn't anything evil disguising itself as one.

FPS's are like Doom and Halo. RPG's involve making choices in the story
line, changing it. An example is Chrono Trigger--12 distinct ending based
on how you play.

Also, with RPGs, the plots are usually more complicated, there is more
character development, etc. They're like visual interactive
scifi/fantasy novels, which is why a bibliophile like myself enjoys
them so much. }=D

Nor do I, it was just an idea that popped into my head somewhere along
