Not confused, only depressed. So please stop, I suffer enought

Well, there are hotels in the area...and I've got a high probablility of
having a dorm for the summer and we get 3 overnight guest a month, so
*theoretically* I could house someone for the con.

Well... If you'd be willing to take me in, if I can't find another place to
stay, I'd very much appreciate it... I can bring my own sleeping bag
(provided they'll allow me to take it on the plane... I don't see why not,
but you never know...)

I don't know how much you'd charge for this sleeping space, but I trust it
will be a reasonable enough rate...

Reasonable enough, it'd be my dorm room. I may pay a hefty price for living
in it for 10 weeks (250% of a nearby apartment probably), but I wouldn't
charge a guest.

When are most of the events taking place?

I just found out today that the earliest I can take vacation is July 9th...
which falls on a Saturday...

Another guy I work with is taking time off from July 1-8 for a wedding...
And since I'd be taking a lot of his tasks while he's gone, I can't take
time off until he gets back; so I'd end missing maybe the 1st 2 days of the
Con... Hopefully, none of the more important events are being held those
days... {:8/

Tough luck. Most of the events occur on Saturday logical-OR after 11 am.

I don't know if I will be going....it's a spur-of-the-moment thing.
For one thing I don't know if I could afford the hotel/transportation
(as I no longer live directly in the Philly area) and some of the
friends I wanted to bring with me can't go this year as there's
already another con they're going to the week before...

On the other hand I'd really like to see the guy who did "Kaze: Ghost
Warrior."

I'm keeping my options open and hoping I win the lottery; but right
now it's iffy at best. Sorry.

Maybe next year?
