Every year my room-mate and I throw a Derby Party. It's a cool thing.
Lots of different people come together and have a good time. Duryea (my
room-mate) put together a flyer that has the gist of it:

He only had a single page so a lot wasn't added. It's for all members
of "fandom" in general,. I'll be hosting movies/dvd's upstairs, and
he'll be showing the race on the ground floor. There's a nice backyard
for folks wanting a bit of space, though not as big as Gavin's (*is
jealous*).
Anyways, it's officially a LEXFA (Lexington Science Fiction and Fantasy
Association) event and we like to do things for worthy causes, so
there's a $1 contribution requested - proceeds to be donated to the
Lexington Public Library.
To make plans, just contact the phone number provided, or email me! ^_^
