Heya, just cruising usenet and found this site...I really like dragons,
my whole life I've felt a connection with them...

Anyway, I'll go to lurking now, to get the general feel of this group,
so far, I like it!

Liking dragons is a good thing for this small group. Lurk as you will and
comment if/when the urge overcomes. The feel of this group is mostly
scales.

Scales I love! Looks like this group doesn't have a lot of action...but
that's good, guess we can liven it up a bit?

*Looks around*
There's a good amount of action for this time of year. Summers are when
people tend to drift away due to vacations and such (and some of us have
finals soon/just past!)

That's certainly how the blind man would say it. "lots of hard scales, a
bit of fur and a soft fleshy thing now and again."

Still, it quite very low in my eyes. We once had 100+ messages per
day. Anythings less once considered "low traffic". And when the group
reached 40+ messages a day, people started saying the group is dieing.
And now we had just 20+ a day :(

Don't panic. We've been through lulls like this before and had posting
pick up again. A lot of people are involved with exams at the moment,
and we're also entering vacation season, so don't expect it to get much
busier until the autumn.

If it does, that's a bonus, of course. :)

Gets familiar with Amethyst.

Er, wait..... };=8Þ

That reminds me of an amusing story on the Wizards.com forums, about the
funniest moment in a game. A character walked up to a paladin on his
horse and tried to pat the horse, the paladin said the horse would
attack anyone he's not familiar with, so the character asked, "Can I get
familiar with your horse?" };=8Þ
