Order of Books. [message #44831] Di, 24 Mai 2005 04:40
TC
I'm having a brain fart. And I can't think of the order that H2G2 goes.

I know it's H2G2
But what's next?

Nah, that's the fifth one. The second one is "Revenge of the Clones"

When it was written I'm not sure, but it is copyright 1986 in my 1997 "The
Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide".

It was written for the Utterly Utterly Merry Comic Relief Christmas Book
1986 (yes, I do have a copy. Yes, it rocks. And yes, it's easy to find on
eBay). I would guess that was when it was written, knowing Douglas and
deadlines.

I have _Salmon of Doubt_, is that the same version of the story or is that

Yes, that's too much to ask. The version in The Salmon of Doubt includes
an extra twelve words, the important one being 'Reagan'.

There's lots of other fun stuff in The Utterly Utterly Merry Comic Relief
Christmas Book too (yes, I also have a copy. And yes, I can confirm it's
easy to find on eBay).

From what I remember of things dim and distant:

A prion is a protein, famous for being able to fold itself into a
different shape and make holes in the brains of cows and humans.

Proteins are on the molecular scale of things, I think, and thus have
several or more atoms involved.

Sub-atomic is, as you're probably aware, smaller than atoms.
