Hopefully towels are not on the list of banned items for your english

I did not take a towel, because mine has writing on it and would be
considered contraband materials. I am going to take a towel around my
village in a moment, after lunch.

I simply forgot mine. Outright humiliating.
Nonetheless, I must remember it for the meeting I have to go to at
8pm...
