1600?! 1600?!
We have to aim to make this month the most posted in on Google Groups. At
the moment we're about 1000 posts away from meeting the target.

There are rumors that on a windows-based dos-enviroment fdisk /u will
format your harddrive at an extremly low level. I think that's only
hearsay 'cause I never tried it nor do I know someone that did.
But it sounds rather rude, don't you think ? :)

On this here Windows 98 machine doing:
c:\fdisk /?
Provokes:
-->Configures a hard disk for use with MS-DOS.
-->
-->FDISK [/STATUS] /X
-->
--> /STATUS Displays partition information.
--> /X Ignores extended disk-access support. Use this switch
if you
--> receive disk access or stack overflow messages.

doing.

We'll have to start with extensive testing to determine the exact boundaries
of his ignorance. Once we've established the limits of the areas of Lloyd's
uncertainty, we will then have to prevent him from gaining any new
knowledge. I suggest inducing a death-like coma. Since the universe is
incredibly large and detailed, this period of inactivity while facts are
gathered, classified and recorded is likely to be very long, and maintaining
suspended animation would become quite costly. Perhaps killing him would be
cheaper and less work. Lloyd's death would also give us the entire
remaining lifespan of the universe in which to complete our task, taking
away considerable deadline pressure.
The entire process would be simplified greatly if Lloyd were simply to die
once the testing is complete. How are you feeling, Lloyd?

Simple question and answer approach seems to be a potential method of
ascertaining things. Long winded, though:
You: "Lloyd, do you know what the capital of France is?"
Me: "Yes, it's Paris"
You: "Lloyd, do you know what the capital of Burundi is?"
Me: "Nope. Don't even know where Burundi is."
etc.
