The first public viewing day is set for next Monday May 23. I'm planning to wait
till the following friday or sunday to avoid the big crowds of fans, fanatics,
and people in general. Some of whom will be going for the costume contests and
"Who makes the best _________ from the movies." stuff. Even JarJar Binks is
included in those contests. Due to the large crowds I'd recommend getting your
tickets 2-3 days in advance if going to see it during the first two weeks out in
the theaters. Hope this helps anyone who is concerned about when it is coming
out.

It's premiering in Calgary on Thursday, May 20..... But I'm working,
and I can wait until the next weekend, especially since this Monday is a
holiday in Canada.....

A good month to avoid the theatres. I'll be glad when it's done. I
like Star Wars, but it's gotten so far out of hand it's unbelieveable.

The premier is... well, today, since it's now midnight, across Britain.
I certainly wasn't about to queue to see the first screening, for which
the titles will be rolling about now, but I have a slightly more
relaxed viewing booked for one o'clock in the afternoon. :)
Still doesn't beat two of my friends at the office, though, who got
into the press screening in London two weeks ago.
