It seems like it was just yesterday - because it was - that the Sci Fi
Channel ran four hours of Trek in the morning - two DS9 episodes followed by
two NextGen episodes. But now Enterprise has finished it's run, and this
morning I see that the whole block has been replaced by four episodes
of....Beastmaster?!?
This is one of those signs the world is ending, right? I should probably
get some plastic sheeting and duct tape, in anticipation of swarms of
locusts.
Don't the suits at the Sci-Fi channel already know we're going through Trek
withdrawal? Do they want to see hordes of poorly socialized nerds stumble
from their basement apartments, like some pale dateless zombies, roaming the
streets and muttering about chroniton particles?

While it's true that the Sci-Fi Channel is now showing hour upon hour of
Beastmaster re-runs, this shouldn't be blamed on the suits at Sci-Fi. In
fact, while it may seem like just yesterday that the Sci-Fi Channel ran 4
hours of Trek in the morning, that hasn't happened (to my knowledge) ever.
The 4 hours of Trek are on Spike, not Sci-Fi.
Don't worry. The world is not ending. Don't worry about the plastic
sheeting and duct tape. I WOULD, however, recommend a TV guide.

You know, I've never watched the Wizard of Oz, but somehow I have the sudden
urge to sing, "If I only had a brain"

Sounds like a nice sequel to Half-life 2 :) You can play Braga or Berman
in a 1-person shoot-em up trying to survive the hordes of evil ST fans
that want your blood...Starting weapon will be a bat'leth from the prop
master and you can add to that the throwable VOY DVD's and the extremely
lethal Paramount Bomb :P

zones and beast masters and Battle star galactica, and Sliders and all the
other pathetic sci fi wannabe shows, once in a while Sci fi DOES show a day
