| Well, I tried and failed to keep up to date... [message #221] |

Hi all,
But I'm blaming my newsserver, it was a bit cack. I should now be set
right back up. That said I'll likely fail to keep up to date, I'm
hopeless like that.
I do have a reason for posting. For those of you who know me... well
done you're very privileged people! You'll also know I did a website
quite a while back which, whilst bloody awfully designed, did contain an
awful lot of information. I manually yanked out every guide entry and
indexed it and also did a database of every character (no matter how
minor). The site's down and dead now (damn my old ISP demon) but I was
searching around the other day and came across it on archive.org
http://web.archive.org/web/20010209110714/http://www.viracoc ha.demon.co.uk/
I'd hate for all the information I gathered to be lost so if anyone
feels like doing anything with it (pictures, audio files and video files
are long gone I'm afraid) then please feel free.
Also what might be worth checking out is the "About everyone who helped
make this site" section. Classic afda'ers will spot their names and
quotes there.
I've been re-reading the books and I've picked up the new radio series
for my car (Missed it when it was on the bbc) so I thought I might as
well re-introduce myself to the masses of afda. I'm also looking forward
to the film greatly.
Speaking of which I've got a 45mb svcd copy of the UK trailer (aired on
tv at some point) with a bit of footage not in the normal trailer. Not
sure if this has been posted yet (and there's a helluva lot of posts for
me to backtrack) but if anyone wants it drop me a reply on here and I'll
gladly send you some ftp details.
Good to be back (again).
Kie,

Funny, I remember/know you and Meg and Teh and Kaare from that list
but I don't remember the rest, and definitely not the site.
Then, I am only a few froup years old - unlike all of you.

Tea would be most welcome. Back from Sri-Lanka? Lucky for some, I'm
stuck in work. Ugh.

In the two thousand and fifth year of Bob, Kieran John's voice said the
following, in wonderful perfect quadrophonic sound with distortion levels so
low as to make a man weep:

I remember you, but you've never been a regular at the same time as me. So
I'm probably new to you. Hi! I'm John.

Yeah. I went on a short trip to one of the hit areas. Too short.

Much as I hope to get the chance to see, I'm unable to at this present
time.
Good to see you back again, again!
