If the balance of Enterprise was at least as decent as this...
Now, Part 2.

We've seen (far) worse. So, to me, it's not "too" bad. ;)

Half way through the last episode and it blows even more. I would have been
happy if they ended it with the two parter that preceded it and had no
regrets.

Hmmm, I'm personally paying attention to the fact that it seems more like a
TNG episode than a closing ENT one.

All the sudden a ship not capable of reaching warp 2 can overtake a ship
going warp 4. The enterprise after 10 years has no protocols about
detection incoming ships and stoping instant boarding parties??? This is so
lame.

Never mind that, a warp 7 starship only 10 years after launch of warp-5
NX-01, when canon "The Menagerie" says "our new engines" and 1701 did...warp
7??
They're pushing the technology again. And again. And again.

I was proud of enterprise as a show until that garbage episode.

I would have been ok with it if they had maybe dyed a bit of the grey out of
Riker's hair. It just got distracting.

Well, to be honest, the chit-chat between Trip and Archer was to mention the
fact that apparently what they were told by the Andorian - warp 2 - was
either a frank lie or dead flat wrong (apparently). The issue is apparently
canon.
But why didn't the sensors pick it up? That slip is indeed non-canon. And
no security detail - they should have indeed been there by the time Archer
woke up at the least. That would be the poorest "security" response in the
history of a starship - any and all nearby crewmen should have arrived at
the suspected location (if they knew they were boarded they must know where
they were) armed and ready.

Frakes looked surprisingly tired - surprisingly old. I believe they should
have done something with the large bags under his eyes - it shows far too
much time between "All Good Things" and this episode. This episode must fit
somewhere between "Encounter at Farpoint" and ST:Generations and Frakes
simply looked too old, regretfully. But RL, I guess, must get in the way of
fantasy.

Most people knew someone was gonna get it, and many people guessed it would
be Trip, and I am glad they gave him a heroic death, but seriously, they had
gotten out of far more dangerous situations then that before.

Yeah, well, Spock fans had their share of shocks, too.
