**Potential SPOILERS for Life, the Universe and Everything**
1) How was Arthur able to fly when fleeing the mountain, and how could he
resume this later on Krikkit at the end of the book (not to mention talking
to birds?!)
2) So Trillian's random teleportation following her disgust with Zaphod
brought her to the floating party? Are coincidences like this supposed to
be explained away by the fact that Our Heroes are frequently in contact with
Improbability Fields?
3) Where did Arthur pick up the red cricket ball/hyperspace bomb? I'm
too tired to pick back through the pages to see where this was set up.
Anyone care to capsulize the Hactar plot for me... it seems rather brilliant
but I can't wrap my mind around it at present.
4) Who was Prak besides a "Messenger" for the two warring factions, and
why would he in particular be privy to the intricacies of "Life, the
Universe and Everything" following an overdose of truth serum?
5) This book seemed to have a solid ending... are the two remaining books
detached from this cental story? Without spoiling, do we ever learn more
about the confusing Zaphod backstory? Is the reincarnation villain ever
featured again?
This would make one kick-ass movie assuming the upcoming flick is successful
enough to sequel.

Flying is easy....You just fall, and then at the last moment, forget to
hit the ground...
As for talking to birds, wouldn't the babel fish sort that one?....

Doesn't that assume they have a proper language? There's a bit where
Arthur notices his Babel fish for the first time for a long while
because it was failing to translate. He realised it was because the
creatures talking to him didn't
have any proper language. (Was it the cavemen back on Earth?).

Sure go with that. Or a wizard did it. Actually, the teleportation device
was built by an alien race called The Plot. That, of course, makes it a
Plot Device. The point is, she needed to be at the party for the story to
proceed, so the teleporter took her there.

If I recall correctly, the bomb dropped into Arthur's bag the first time
they were at Lourde's. It dropped in, and he quietly congratulated himself
on his souvenir as he pretended to help the others look for the lost ball.
Summarize the Hactar plot, let's see...The race that had built Hactar
billions of years ago was wiped out, and Hactar was destroyed, but Hactar's
particles remained, forming the dust cloud that enveloped the planet
Krikkit. Hactar was still programmed to destroy the universe, so it
manufactured the ship that crashlanded on Krikkit, in order to convince them
to destroy the universe.

That was more comedic license. Prak was ordered to tell the WHOLE truth and
that's what he did. Relax and laugh. Share and enjoy.

Without spoiling too much, the two remaining books focus almost entirely on
Arthur. Agrajag does figure into the plot at a crucial point, but more I
will not say.

He got distracted by seeing his bag, so he forgot to hit. Not sure what
distractions there are on Krikkit, but I'm sure there are some.

Either that or Hactar manipulating things.

Hactar put it there when he and Trillian where having their chat.

One would assume he was a witness to something. Anyways, he was given a
drug designed to make him tell the truth. Except he had way too much, so he
told the truth about EVERYTHING.

Zaphod is only ever referred to by others, Sorry.

Actually, it was created to be a Doctor Who movie, but was rejected as
being to silly.
