Hey kids... just found out today I am going to see the movie at the El
Capitan theater in LA at the end of the month. It should be a blast!

Sigh. Does anyone have some free tickets to London or somewhere they
would like to give me? No?
How am I ever going to survive the wait for the movie?
It's movie schedules like these that drive people into piracy! Next
thing I know I will find myself in Agalmi :-(

I've booked a flight from Kastrup to London that weekend, just
couldn't wait...

I have 5 complimentary UCI Gallery tickets which I was given after I
complained about a particularly bad experience once...
I intend to be using all five of them to take my entire family to see
the new movie...
The Gallery in UCI is great....You get free popcorn, free nacho's, free
tea and coffee, they have a licensed bar and you can bring your
beer/wine/whatever into the theatre, you get individually escorted to
your seat just like VIP's, and the seats are enormous. The most
comfortable cinema seats I've ever sat in...

I don't know about you, but I'm going to stay out of this froup between teh
premiere and me seeing the movie. I won't be able to stand it.
Why do they do this to us?
Kind regards,
Nikitta.

Well, I'd say the same. However, I'm not sure if I can stay out for
almost four (!!!) months!

Somewhere womebody is truly evil.
I can understand (well, just a little) that it can be desirable to
have the premiere at different times in different parts of the
world. But that would spread the premiere over a week at most - four
months is totally incomprehensible to me.

The reason they do that is so they can recycle the film prints
from one theater to another. If they made another film for every
theater on the planet the film use would be way bigger than it
already is, the costs would go up, and the ticket sales would
be about the same.

And instead they choose to risk that people can't wait and instead
downloads the film from the 'net?
I still don't get it...
But perhaps I'm still just grumpy about having to wait to see it...
I will probably visit a friend in Andorra in may or june and I
consided watching it in France or Spain instead - but there it is on
display even *later*...
