I got a www.insight-com.com modem Anyway, they of
course couldn't install it where I wanted and I now have a mini-hub on the
floor and 20 feet of Ethernet cable lying across the floor where it
shouldn't be. And I have to get the condo association to put something on
official letterhead so they will put it where it should be, but that is
beside the point... When I try to go anywhere on the internet with the
Sygate firewall that worked perfectly with the dial-up, nothing works.
Doesn't make sense enabling Allow All, but that is the only way it works.
And one weird thing is: when I searched the ngs for the daily show (with
Jon Stewart) it
brings up, alt.tv.daily-show instead of alt.tv.comedy-central.daily-show. I
realize their are different news group servers but usually they have common
ngs... It's like that Star Trek ep where they transported to an alternate
Universe and Spock
had a beard and Kirk had that device that could take out his opponents.
