Even more movie comments... [message #29319] Do, 05 Mai 2005 00:46

Would the movie have done better as a single film split into two
parts, along the lines of Kill Bill? Part one should have ended
with a semi-biographical look at Zaphod stealing the Heart of Gold.
This would have left plenty of time to develop the feel of the
universe, the guide, and the characters. It would have been a
great cliff hanger and given some buzz for the sequel. Ah well.
Too late now I suppose.

The music was irritating. I can tell within the first ten minutes
or so if the composer was smoking pot when he wrote the score. And
this guy, whatever his name was, was at least on bowl number eight.
Scooby Doo 3 wants its soundtrack back.

No other comments. 7/10 overall.

I agree with the music comment. My non-hitchhiker friend whispered to
me during the song "so... is this a musical?"
