I thought it was rather apt. And you can't say she
didn't work for it, the girl may as well have had a
matress strapped to her back.

Maybe someone a little more believable. Like someone with command
experience.

Command experience? My sense is that when one succeeds by killing one's
superior, command experience is probably not the most important factor.
Instead I would suggest: cunning, guile, deceit,
manipulative, etc... Take past and present day dictatorships.

Well, what I think of your opinion of Archer will be determined by what
you thought of Sisco and Janeway.

It should be your opinion that counts not mine. I think he is usually bad,
as he can only play the same character in whatever TV show he's in.
I always found Sisko very engaging as a character, but he's no Patrick
Stewart, and got way too many raves from fans. For the great shakespearean
actor he was supposed to be what's he done since? NOTHING.
Kate is a terrific human being. Bad leader and decision maker. She is a
fine actress, as long as you can get past her voice. She looks at people
like she really cares about them, and that's not easy to do.

Kate gave up her baby because it got in the way of her career. She's
pure trash.

I agree. The father of the baby said she was cold-hearted and also
stated that, as you said, Mulgrew thought the baby would hurt her
career. The casting of DS9 and Voyager were overtly politically
motivated.

not only was it a bad ending it also eliminated the chance for more eppire
episodes.

I think the chance for more episodes was eliminated when the series was
canceled.
I'm sure it'll be less than a year before PocketBooks releases a novel
continuing the story. While it won't be cannon, it will surely keep people
who crave the 'dark side' happy, featuring almost all the characters.(In
fact, the only one regular who actually died was Archer, you never actually
see anyone else die). If done correctly it could be an excellent book
detailing some sort of power struggle for the ship, ultimitly leading to its
destruction(since whoever has the ship could take over the empire). Poor
Sato...she slept her way to the top but if she ever leaves the ship she'll
loose power.

Actually, we never see Archer *die*. We see him collapse, then Hoshi on the
bridge. He simply may be heavily drugged and later in (permanent)
captivity, possibly heavily drugged to make him "pliable" for tactical
information or something else.

Everyone here is jumping to conclusions about Archer. Not a single person
in canon vocally proclaimed him "dead". We simply saw him lose
consciousness. A lot can happen later.
