I was once told by a friend that the creature in Young Zaphod Plays It
Safe was a creature that could do anything, as long as it's not told
that it can't do it.
It went to Earth, became Arthur Dent, and had all of the adventures.
The only reason he/it could do these things is because nobody ever told
him he couldn't.
I've never found anything to back up this story. Has anybody here ever
heard such a thing?
