Yesterday I was listening in my car to "Kings of the wild frontier" by
Adam & the Ants. Just when "Ants invasion" was playing I noticed to
ants crawling on my dashboard, weird coincidence.

In the two thousand and fifth year of Bob, Jan van den Broek's voice said
the following, in wonderful perfect quadrophonic sound with distortion
levels so low as to make a man weep:

Off-topic posting has returned! Hey, funny thing, I'm going on a 'date' (I
say date, I mean I'd like it to be a date but I'm not telling her that yet)
to the cinema with somebody I've fancied since I was four. Which is cool.

Note that it was _Adam_ and the Ants, and that at least puts four words
on topic in this post :-)

I would have thought the only one you would fancy at the age of four was
your mother, but while it may be fun to go to the cinema with your
mother on occasion, I assume you wouldn't really be interested in it
being a date...
But good luch with whoever-she-is. (Is the froup really a safe place to
post your secrets? Or are you hoping one of us will do the role of
Marytavy?)

Nah, Lizzie was hotter than my mother. By a long way.

Hah, my friends call me "frighteningly" secure and open. So I'm not
bothered. It's not as if I'm going to describe anything beyond what happens
in the dates...

Who is this Bob guy anyway?

Where did you buy this equipment with such good sound quality? My
stereo is ok, but it never made me weep ;o)

Well, I do not know Lizzie, but I bet - somehow mothers just aren't
hot (at least I do not think mine is) ;o)

It somehow depends on the chance of her reading this...
Which is the reason why I dare to say that the girl, I'd like to date
just boarded a plane and won't return for 6 weeks. Which makes me a
bit sad. Well, I guess I could just pay a visit.
And by the way - nice with some good old off-topic posting again. Just
dug through 250 posts this weekend. Most of which I just skipped as I
do not want to read all this about the movie - as I probably won't see
it until august...

This evening I heard Kevin Benderman and Camilo Mejia talk about how
wrong the US strategy in Iraq is. The supporting cast from the Veterans
for Peace talked about how evil the US strategy in Vietnam had been.
I would have used the term "coincidence" but that would been wrong.

Lately Bush has been offering to solve the problem of higher gas
prices by "building more oil refineries." I'm missing the logic of that.
Since when does building cookie factories cure a grain shortage?
