Voldemort will not die. DD told him at the ministry that there are worse
things than death. I think we will find out what one of those may be. My
guess would be that we have already seen it, but did not understand it to be
such at a time.

The only characters to have their wand cores revealed, other than the
Tri-wizard champs, was Neville and Ron, both unicorn hair like Cedric, who
died. Those two are dead men.

I suspect that's exactly it - e will die and be no more, whereas other
people die but go on to have new adventures, perhaps behind the veil. But as
Voldy's cut his soul into 7 pieces, he won't. He'll just be dead or even be
trapped as a sub-ghost, a less-than-a-ghost - and he probably won't find the
dying part a pleasant process either!

The only weird stuff (besides the magic and the creatures ^_^) about
something related to the death, that I can remember now is the veil at
the MoM. But I really really wouldn't like it to be some place where
your soul is tortured forever and ever because Black's there :S

No. There is something there, mentioned in passing, that I think will be
highly important. Sort of like the Vanishing Cabinet reference in #5, paving
the way for Draco's use in #6, I just can't pinpoint it right now. But I am
convinced that V will not die, per se.

Maybe the potion that if misused will put you into a permanent sleep?
So Voldy sleeps until either his body dies and he's a sleeping Vapor, or until
all his horcruxes are destroyed and he dies totally because his soul is too
splintered to survive?

Actually - Riddle will be VANQUISHED as per the Prophecy. The word does
not mean Killed - in means Defeated or Overcome. SO - there is room for
the possibility that Riddle would not be "killed". Still - It would be a
real downer if he wasn't killed.

Remember the "fate worse than death". I would love to see him
stripped of his magical powers and forced to live as a squib...
perhaps Filch's underling.

I have been saying this for a long time. One only has to look at
Nevilles parents, to see where LV is headed. LV will end up without
powers, insane, and in St. Mungos.
