Can the software be tweaked to omit such obvious spam? This message
appears to be an auto-spam that is periodically reposted to a large
number of newsgroups. I don't even think it qualifies as trolling
anymore.

It certainly should be possible to ask it to ignore that particular=20
thread. I'll take a look when things are a little less hectic. I also=20
want to tweak the way it reports cross-posts to r.a.b.t.

I'd suggest that a limit is set for threads as well as for posters --
threads with less than 3 posts should be ignored (for volume). That
would also allow the script to ignore the FAQ postings, which will
otherwise reappear regularly in the statistics.
And, if we continue to have less than 20 people posting five or more
posts a week, I suggest that the limit is reduced to 3 or 4.
