This is one of the best flash movies I've ever seen. Based on the
story originally published in Dark Horse SW Visionaires.

Thise was cool. The voice acting sucked a little and I didn't quite get why
Obi-Wan emerged from the ground a la Carrie, but overall it was good.

Wow, nice animation.

It's a real pain that these can't easily be downloaded and converted
for playing on DVD players etc...

Someone should tell George that there's some money to be made by
releasing a few "best of fan" collections on DVD. Probably not too
many royalties to pay either since most fans would be really happy to
be "published".

There are no royalties - anyone playing in George Lucas' sandpit is not
allowed to make money off it.

Admittedly, no royalties (sorry) but if George was buying some
animation, it would be like "commissioning" as Star Wars job.

I suppose that, being the perfectionist that he is, he wouldn't allow
it, but I'd like to see this, Troops, the Star Wars Spoofs and a whole
lot more released on a format that's accessible by the masses.

I'd pay for something like that.

If Star Trek can have amateurs submit stories for publication in a series of
anthologies, I think Lucas could work out some kind of arrangement for
amateurs submitting work, Lucas selling it, and distributing royalties and /
or credit.

Suhweet.

THE SUPER SEVEN show on CBS Saturday mornings back in the 80s or 70s--but
now it's available for the masses)

He _could_ work out such an arrangement. The next knock on your door
_could_ be Jessica Alba with lust in her eye too.

It is possible with modern science and technology!

Seriously, Lucasfilms has sponsered fanfilms--if they are comedic or
documentary about fans but not straight up dramas. Only one step from that
to selling the best and distributing a small royalty to the fan in question
and major kudos on the credits side.
