FOX looking for new animated shows [message #293309] Mi, 28 Juni 2006 15:55

FOX wants a few good cartoons to fill out a 2-1/2 block of animated shows on
Sunday night. They are wanting to move "The War at Home" to another night
(yay!), and recruit one or two more 1/2 hour animated shows.

So, right now they have:
King of the Hill
The Simpsons
Family Guy
American Dad

That's 2 hours. I have been hearing that this will be "King of the Hill's"
last season, so they will probably want at least 2 shows.

Why they want to produce shows just to be killed off by NFL overtimes, I
don't know.

What kind of animated shows would you like to see?

"Dave Chapelle Kicks A Honkie's Ass", starring Dave Chapelle and
Mastic.
"Living Gay in the USA" starring Rob Wade.
"America's Famous Sporting Venues and the Urban Legends that go with
Them", hosted by Xino Kiner.
"Survivor: Life Inside A Mental Hospital", starring arizonadreamin.
"Pimp My Ride", the episode where they pimp arizonadreamin's Big Penis
Car.
"The 'Dee Dee Dee' Awards", hosted by Carlos Mencia. Cletus the slack
jawed yokel gets all the awards.

If they put new Futurama, new Beavis and Butthead (in place of King Of
The Hill) along with Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad; every
Sunday night would be like the Super Bowl when the whole country
flushes the toilet at once during the commercials...

True enough. Just moving the show away from its protective bookends should
clobber it. And even if it doesn't, at least it won't be polluting my Sunday
night anymore.

I was actually thinking about you when I posted this.

Animation? Get acquainted with some Koreans who know the value of a dollar,
and you're all set.

You should try and pitch it to FOX, but maybe a toned down Saturday
morning cartoon version. "Rad" it up with a lot of "awesome!" dialogue.

Seriuosly, I think that after the Simpsons is over, (i.e. 20th
Season?); they will try spin-offs.

Try and pitch it now - so it can be developed for later release.
