Give it your Hamlet best (and disregard the last interview):
Neville dies in a suicidal spell that takes a WHOLE bunch of DEs with
him--including the ones that tortured his parents.
Snape shows his true colors by ambushing a hit squad of DEs. He dies
along side his surprised evil compatriots.
Voldemort takes Ginny hostage to lure Harry into a confrontation. Ginny
dies when the heroic trio arrives.
Ron and Hermione survive the final battle between Harry and Voldemort
because: Harry Potter dies taking down Voldemort.
Any further suggestions (keeping in the spirit of Hamlet, mind you)?

Seamus and Dean are sent off on some errand and are never seen again.
Catherine Johnson. It's just a conspiracy of cartographers, then?
