It was said on channel 10 news ( Philadelphia, PA, USA) That Rowling has
announced that she will kill of 2 characters in the 7th instalment. I
know that people have posted new articles about this being said before
but maybe since it was said on national t.v that maybe, and sadly it was
true. Of course u can't always trust the media. :sigh: well we'll just
have to see now wouldn't we? I really cant wait until next year...we'll
finally have the answers and a new movie that we can tear to pieces with
criticism.

Makes sense to me, except JK has gone out of her way to explain to V that
there are worse things than death. I believe that in the end, V will not be
dead, but will have one of those things occur, whatever it may be.
Snape, killed by V (I don't think he is fooled for a moment)
Ron, killed by a DE

I don't get the impression that she was talking about characters that
people may *want* to have die.
Let's see: Percy will get the reprieve, Hagrid and one of the twins will
die.

Again... If this is true, my thought is it to be Harry and Voldemort. I
deeply wish for Harry not to die. However, it would make sense if the
theory about Harry being a Horcruxe proves true. Which you can read
about in another Topic.

She said she altered her writing to kill off two characters she
originally planned to have survive. Voldemort can only be one of them
if she originally planned to have him survive, and that strikes me as
extremely unlikely.

She didn't say *only* two characters will die. She said two will die
she didn't *intend* to kill-off. There's a big difference.
