Marge has an outstanding top; it must reach eight feet tall. Mr. Burn's
top has three dots on it. And the top of Mount Splashmore is *really*
high!
As for bottoms, Patty and Selma have two of the worst. "Wide loads" as
they say. But the very worst bottom has to be the bottom of Snowball
II's kitty litter pan. YUUCH!

Sorry, we're punch-drunk from the trolls...
Serious answer (and these are highly subjective, of course):
Best 3 ---
Season 4, for shows like "Homer the Heretic" (Homer's religious
beliefs), "I Love Lisa" (the cruelty of young love), "Duffless" (addiction,
and how it's not all that simple).
Season 7 included the classic "22 Short Films About Springfield" (just
pure fun), "The Day the Violence Died" (I like it for the ending if nothing
else), and "Lisa the Vegetarian" (Lisa gets more annoying).
Season 8, for shows like "You Only Move Twice" (excellent spoof),
"Hurricane Neddy" (adding a much-needed dimension to the Flanders
character), and "A Milhouse Divided" (very funny, very dark look at
divorce).
I cannot fail to mention, however, that this season had a couple of
stinko stories: "Homer's Enemy" and "Homer vs. the 18th Amendment." These
shows had their laughs, but thematically, they were crass and shallow.
Worst 3:
Season 10 - "Homer to the Max" and "Maximum Homerdrive" - (brainless
stories with Homer acting up). "Homer Simpson in : 'Kidney Trouble'" - (not
only is Homer stupid, he's cruel and thoughtless.)
Season 13: Most of the stories were like "hey, I have this idea - Homer
takes care of Moe's bar! Then he's the police! Then he can't talk! Then
Bart..." Not much to like this season.
Season 9: Need I say more than: "The Principal & the Pauper." (I can't
reveal the plot - on pain of TORTURE!) Ok, then, how about "All Singing, All
Dancing?" YECH. I did however enjoy "The City of New York vs. Homer
Simpson."

Thanks FLOWERS. I like Season 7 a lot as well. One of my all time
favorite episodes is BART SELLS HIS SOUL.

Hey, this is a family oriented ng. If you talk about "top" and
"bottom" too much, Rob Wade will come back.

No... that's if you just talk about "bottoms."

Rob Wade strikes me as more of a bottom. He's probably on the lookout
for a good top. (Or two or three. That should keep him plenty satisfied
and out of this newsgroup.)
Top three seasons for me:
Season 4. Pretty much every episode there was a classic. (The sad
exception was the clip show, but even that was fun.) Homer the Heretic
had me laughing for days. I can still watch Last Exit to Springfield
and get a laugh or two.
Season 3. This is when they really hit their stride. I loved "Mr. Lisa
Goes to Washington." and "Separate Vocations". Back then, Lisa had
heart but was not quite so annoying.
Season 1. This one started it all. Something new and different was on
TV and I lapped it right up. I can't remember enjoying a new show as
much as I enjoyed the Simpsons.
Bottom 3 seasons.
Season 6. Yes, it contained many classic episodes and can technically
be placed in the top 5 somewhere. Unfortunately, when I watched "Lemon
of Troy", I reached an unpleasant realization that the show was not
going to maintain the high level of quality I was accustomed to.
Season 9. My fears about the show's quality level was most definitely
confirmed.
Season 13. That's when I actually stopped watching the show on a
regular basis. I have since returned to my regular viewing habits, but
not so enthusiastically.

I really liked the one with "towlie". That is one stoned piece of cloth.
Chef is pretty funny too.

Hey, I like Police Cops and Admiral Baby form Homer To The Max!
And the beginning of All Singing and All Dancing is great, with the
Paint Your Wagon sing-a-long.

What I want to know is, who will be the first to say that the bottom
three are 15, 16, and 17?
Personally, I put 3, 4, and 5 as the top three.
