Grammy winner Steve Vai signing autographs Friday

Grammy-Award winning guitarist Steve Vai comes to LA Music this
Friday for an autograph session, starting at 3 p.m.
Vai, who performs that evening at The Hummingbird Centre with the
Zappa Plays Zappa tour, will sign autographs and chat with fans.
There is no charge.
Known for his work with Frank Zappa, including the early works
Moggio and Stevie's Spanking, Vai left the band in 1982 and
recorded his first album, Flex-Able. Three years later, he joined
David Lee Roth's band and recorded the multi-platinum albums
Eat'em And Smile and Skyscraper.
Vai also played with ex-Sex Pistols John Lydon's band Public
Image Ltd. on their album Album, performed with Ozzy Osbourne on
the album Ozzmosis and took to the stage with the Tokyo
Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra.
His most recent album Real Illusions: Reflections was released
last year. He also supplied a guitar rendition of the theme song
to the smash Xbox video game Halo 2 and has had his music
featured in movies which include Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey and
Ghosts of Mars.
