VEERTIG JAAR FREAK OUT!
Ok, so this is actually a bulletin sent by musician Chris Opperman from
his myspace. He probably chose to post it in Dutch since he worked with
Mike Keneally in Netherlands in 2003. I think it's still pretty
intelligible in English, though...

-----------------------
The Mothers Of Invention.
Franzoni.
It can happen here, op Radio 4FM!

He probably chose to post it in Dutch because he doesn't speak Dutch,
and thus was unable to translate it into English.

Is this true in Dutch? Because it's not true in English.

who is probably responsible for the Dutch announcement, and who really
ought to have heard of Blonde On Blonde by now.

Freak Out was from July 66, I can't find the exact release date of
Blonde on Blonde (my cd has no date at all)
But you're probably right.
What a year that was anyway, cause those mentioned above weren't the
only masterpieces that got on the market.
Cream - Fresh Cream
Donovan - Sunshine Superman
Nina Simone - Wild Is The Wind
Otis Redding - The Soul Album
The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
The Beatles - Revolver
The Rolling Stones - Aftermath
The Who - A Quick One
Tim Buckley - Tim Buckley
to name a few.

Blonde On Blonde was released May 16, 1966 according to bobdylan.com.
Freak Out was released June 27, 1966 according to Roman's site.

I'm not in the position to doubt the June 27 date, but just for the
record, during my collecting years i've seen various sources listing
various dates for the release of FO! , one of them being a poster in
(iirc) _The Grateful Dead Movie_ which announces _Freak Out! - out on
July 4th_ .
