Harry begins with an H.
Horcrux begins with an H.

The letter X is zigzaggy if you flutter your eyelids.
The scar on Harry's head is zigzaggy.

Voldemort split his soul.
Harry has a lot of soul.

Harry is British.
Horcrux is not American.

Voldemort's eyes are red.
Harry's girlfriend's hair is red.

I could go on.

Is there a person or thing left that has not yet been declared to be a
horcrux? :-) Moaning Myrtle is my guess for horcrux of the day.

Good. I find these reasons better than any so far. At least they are
very amusing :D:D
As a horcrux of the day I suggest Harry's teddy-bear.
You see, when LV performed AK curse and was then making a horcrux out
of something he brought with him, he didn't realise soon enough that
the AK didn't work, his wand shook and pointed at the teddy-bear by
accident.

So what if harry really did have a piece of moldy voldy in him,
wouldn't they be at odds anyways and want to duke it out?

The problem is more obvious. IF harry was a Horcrux (I say he is not) -
the only way to Vanquish Riddle for good it to eliminate ALL of his
Horcruxes BEFORE you eliminate V himself. If a horcrux remains - V
cannot be "killed" - he would just revert to the form he was in back at
the end of book one - with the ability to return.

Now - if Harry is a Horcrux - HOW can Harry Destroy all of the Horcruxes
and still kill V - since he would have to destroy HImself BEFORE he
destroys V.

However - Harry is not a Horcrux - so that is not a problem.

Actually, the idea of Harry carrying a piece of V has been around before JKR
gave us the word 'horcrux'. Almost 5 years ago I mentioned the possibility,
as she is very into ancient legends, and incorporating them into the series.
Specifically, it's a Germanic legend concerning what is called a lich (this
also appears very prominently in the world of Dungeons and Dragons, by the
way) and the preservation of self into an undead form through the use of
soul receptacles, where the soul is hidden in an object, while the body
decays, etc, but you remain "alive". JKR's use of the horcrux idea is not
dissimilar at all.

Notice how JKR has prominently placed the idea of "switching" spells
throught the series?

I think what will happen is that Harry and Voldemort will engage in the
final battle, and when their wands lock onto each other again, it will
interact with a time-turner Hermione is wearing, creating a space-time
rift in the Alpha quadrant, where upon the starship Enterprise will be
pulled through, Jean Luc Picard will blast Voldemort with a photon
torpedo, thinking he's a Klingon, and beam Harry up, but the transporter
gets all fucked up by the Phoenix tail feather mojo, and Harry is flung
back in time to where Voldemort is about to kill him as a tot, but he's
really his mom this time, and he lets Voldemort kill him, so he can save
himself, and transfer an ancient type of magic onto his baby body known
as the love/full diaper/Star Trek/time travel/mind fuck charm. Sorry, I
only had time to write one sentence, besides this one.

Lily's love prevented this, and in time seems to have purified the
Soul Bit. If so, Voldie must fear it reintegrating, and battling it
out with love.

If harry's scar is the horcrux then he'd just have to destroy his scar,

There's a fan club? Are there badges with, like, two intertwining H's?
Can I get a plastic horcrux in a box of cereal? If there's a plastic
Voldemort in there, is that a cereal killer?

My guess is that Harry or his scar is not a horcrux, but the scar will
turn out to be the shortcut to bypass all horcruxes which was
previously unknown as nobody had survived the killing curse before.
Hermione will realise this and it allows to skip the hunt for all the
remaining horcruxes and finding ways to deactivate them.

yeah, me, Blon, Toon and Jano are members. Our raison d'etre is to
raise awareness at all opportunities that it is very possibly that JKR
is going to reveal harry as an accidental horcrux in book7.

sure, we are always glad for more members :)

yeah, harry might do a swicthing spell on his scar and LV's blood,
drainning LV and sending his soul fragment back to LV in one swoop. but
then he'd had to go ahead and destroy LV without the help of LV's
special abilities.
