Hi, don't post here much but I have a question, and it hasn't been mentioned
as far as I know.
In HBP we see that Snape has turned to Voldemort's side appearently.
But what if he wasn't Snape but Voldemort himself?
We've seen Polly Juice potion a couple of times now.
Makes more scense that Wormtail was staying with him plus the title half
blood prince makes more sence to me.
Not to mention the look of hatred on Snape's face when he killed DD and the
alledged fault Dumbledore made when trusting Snape.
If this allready have been discussed to death then I am sorry.
bye,
Nathalie

Shoot!
I thought I cancelled this message :-(
I was ready with typing before my brain told me that this idea was
ridiculous.
Then again, maybe he let Harry go because of more dramatich plans he has in
store for him.

I've certainly heard more ridiculous ones. Heck, yours actually made me

Jane,
Snape my be evil, but he is playing his own game.
And his game does NOT include LV what ever it is.
His game came closer to DD, and what ever its, If were
LV I would be very afraid of Snape.
1)Because Snape is you equal.
2)Because Snape could destroy you.
As Snape Killing DD, I am convinced that DD ask him to kill him.
Snape is like Fenamore in Dune, hidden.
I will eventually be Snape and Harry together that will destroy LV.

Voldemort would never make an Unbreakable Vow where he's the one who
could die. He wanted Draco to fail so he could kill off the Malfoy
Clan.

The only thing dead is Dumbledore. And Sirius. The Potters. Etc.

Dr. Who Marathon was starting. And for some reason The Doctor bears a

Hi Toon,
You are right this theory is wobbly at best.
But as for the unbreakable vow.. why not, you don't know what will happen to
the person when he has horcruxes at hand. And besides that, we know he is a
megalomaniac. What if he was sure he could protect Draco PLUS having the
benefits later to kill off his family because of treason? Then he had no
problem at all to explain their deaths to other death eaters. (as if he
would be bothered to explain himself)

He already lived through Horcrux survival once. He lost his troops,
his reputation, his life (as he knew it) for 13 years. He's not going
to risk it all again unless necessary. And he fears death so much,
he'd never do anything that results in death unless absolutely
necessary.

Yep you're right.
This theory is dead.
*Off to ponder other possibilities*

and Snape is too scared to even say Voldemort:
'How come I saw through the snakes eyes if it's Voldemort's thoughts
I'm sharing?'
'Do not say the Dark Lord's name!' spat Snape.
There was a nasty silence. They glared at each other across the
Pensieve.
'Professor Dumbledore says his name,' said Harry quietly.
'Dumbledore is an extremely powerful wizard,' Snape muttered. 'While he
may feel secure enough to use the name... the rest of us...' He rubbed
his left forearm, apparently unconsciously, on the spot where Harry
knew the Dark Mark was burned into his skin.
rac, there is nothing that special about Snape, he just seems to be a
bitter man who was once a DE and has since turned sides.
