Hi All,

Those who read my "Eric the Latvian Dwarf" post are probably wondering "eh?"

I'm 36 (somehow!) living in South Wales, UK. Male, single, disabled, and
about four parts mad - which is a shame as I had to borrow a couple to
make up the four - but anyway!

I've worked in Local Government admin and as an ISP Support
technician (the poor so..... err helpful person you call when
your Internet connection dies). Currently a "mature" (read older than the
others) student. I've been a Pratchett fan over 10 years and found this
group after looking for some quotes online a couple of days ago.

I'm missing about 4 of the DW books, mainly because when I started reading
them I didn't twig that they are (broadly) consecutive. At least the
Lancre, Death and City Watch ones tend to follow on.

My favourite characters are Death, Sam Vimes and Detritus.

Fave quote *has* to be:

Vimes: Detritus! What have I told you about Mr Safety Catch?
Detritus: When Mr Safety Catch Is Not On, Mr Crossbow Is Not Our Friend.

Kind regards,

Julian

Anyway, welcome. Chair, cat, chocolate, alligator and possibly purple goat
in the order of your choice.

Barry, so that would be Cardiff end. I do enjoy my rugby but I'm not a
fanatical supporter (other than when Wales play of course), I just like to
see a good game, so either way it's all good clean fun :)

Kind regards,

Julian
