I don't remember ever seeing this mentioned here, though someone probably
already has done, but there is an animated version of the never completed
Doctor Who adventure "Shada", the last one written by Douglas Adams,
available online. "Shada" was apparently interrupted by a strike in 1979
and never finished. It involves a Time Lord living at Cambridge University
for 300 years. Sound familiar?
The flash animation can be streamed from this site:

I've made it through the first two episodes, and so far there's been a Ford
Prefect carjacked by an evil alien mad scientist and a physics lab with its
own Nutrimat.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's around four years old, and has
been released on CD by a company called Big Finish, who also do other
Eighth Doctor CDs as well as some pre-Eighth CDs.

I can't imagine anyone wanting to pay for it, as it's fairly awful. I hope
the television version was better.

I think it's good. I bought it, and I still listen to it regularly.

It's not half-bad. As bopAd pointed out, it's not the best thing out
there and the only reason it has any mystique was because a strike
shut down production of the original episode.
But this works a lot better than having Tom Baker narrate on screen
for a couple hours (nice, though that is).
