OK well now that the movies have finished and (IMO) the stories set
after the original films are getting way too stale, I'm guessing that
Lucas Books might start to fill in more of the gaps between the movies.
Here is what I would like to see...
Prior to Episode 1
1. A trilogy based around Palpatine/Plagueis and how Palpatine betrayed
his master and wormed his way into politics
2. A book based around Jar Jar Binks just prior to the start of the
movie (I am joking of course!!!)
Between Ep 1 and 2:
1. A trilogy or series based around Count Dooko's defection to the Dark
Side and the events that lead to the creation of the Sepratists.
Between Ep 3 and 4:
1. A book or two based around the last handful of rogue Jedi and/or
focussing on Darth Vader's rise to power (I think the forthcoming
Coruscant Nights might cover this).
2. One that focusses on where Mara Jade came from and her early years
training under the Emperor.
3. Possibly a book that follows Leia in her younger years in the
Imperial senate and the role she played in the early days of the
Rebellion (plus some story about Bail and Breha Organa).
What would everyone else like to see?

There is a Plagueis book (not a trilogy) coming. I think 2008 was the
release date.

I think this book already exists in kids' novel form.

The basis of the Separatists were created by Palpatine before he took
Dooku on as his apprentice. Dooku simply brought more planets /
organisation into it.

No doubt these will appear (if they don't already exist) as books,
comics and / or games.

I'd like to see a series of books set in the Old Republic at the height of
the Sith threat.
