All the butt slapping in basketball, football, and baseball vindicates
your point. But what about skiing, speed skating, golf, archery,
bowling? Nobody ever slaps anybody's butt in those sports! And the
outfits those woman swimmers wear.
Every time I swim at the health club, if I am wearing my jammers, the
lifguard, always a cute teenage girl, smiles and says hello to me. Not
bad for a 49 year old man.
Women's volleyball! Ay carumba! And those women aren't even naked!
I have seen those pictures in Playboy of Amy Acuff and Mary Sauer.
Apparently women's track and field is not gay.

I've watched naked volleyball and it is better (of course there were no guys
playing (volleyball that is).
I think that Mastic and arizondreaming are the gay ones. Not that there's
anything wrong with that, except it is kinda creepy.
Didja see Vito on the Sopranos? **shudder**
And what about the girls in the water tower at the junction? (If you get
that, then maybe you really are 49 years old)
At least the Simpsons never talk about gay people.
Not sure how all that ties together, but it is what I think. (except maybe
for the old fart bit - a little too close to home)

Mr. Wallace, I am curious as to what level of fanatic you are of The
Simpsons. You have made some interesting posts in recent months, but you
don't seem to be as "sharp" about the obscure reference as say Mr. Hirshberg
is.
Have you watched the show regularly since the early nineties, or are you a
recent "convert"? Do you have episodes taped and memorized? You don't have
to answer these questions, of course, I am simply curious.
I own seasons 1-7 on DVD, I don't have any of the others simply because I
can't afford them. I have all of the DVD episodes memorized. I refuse to
listen to the commentaries, because IMO they are stupid and distract from
the show. My sister has recorded most of the other episodes and I have many
of these memorized as well, except for the most recent seasons of which I
have seen little because my sister was away at school. I normally do not
watch the show on Sunday nights because I am outside, if the weather is
good, with my friends.
