.... they really screw up continuity.
The specific instance I refer to is from 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bangalore',
shown here last night.
It was where they had Bart apparently not know who McGyver was (I hope
someone got fired for that). :)
Even a casual trawl through my memory reveals a specific counter-example
: The episode where Sideshow Bob tried to blow up Selma
There are undoubtedly other examples too.

Yeah. Like that clock on the kitchen wall that always shows 9:15.
Even at 4 in the morning. Why don't they buy a wall clock that works
and use it to replace the one that is stuck at 9:15?

I doubt the current crop of writers has ever seen that episode. It sure
doesn't seem like they're fans of the show.
