J. D. Salinger is the recluse author of the novel "The Catcher in the
Rye".
In 1943, the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League was
formed. The idea of this league was to maintain in the public eye while
many men were away helping their country win World War II. The league,
which lasted until 1954, inspired the 1992 film "A League of Their
Own", which told a fictional account of the league's first season.

Vin Scully
The Isotopes announcer was clearly Harry Shearer doing an impression
of Vin Scully, who's been the voice of the Dodgers since they were in
Brooklyn.

And in the early 20th century there WERE, in fact, barnstorming girls'
baseball teams using guys in drag. Red Sox pitching great Smokey Joe
Wood played on one as a teen.

Are you sure it's a parody of the Toxic video? That is, anything specific
in it?
Anyhow, don't also forget two other things:
-It's asked why she didn't marry a backup dancer (e.g. Kevin Federline)
-The end credits, at least what Fox broadcast of them, did in fact sound
like a Toxic knockoff, though I don't recall it being heard in the episode.
